Sales Co-ordinator – Parts

Motivair Compressors Limited (MCL) is a Technical and Service Solutions business that specialises in industrial air systems. We are looking to recruit a Sales Co-ordinator to join out Parts Team based in Burntwood.

Scope and Purpose of the role:

  • Expand the number of active Motivair customers
  • To maximise the sales of capital and parts including on-line sales through our fulfilment provider
  • Increase both sales and profits
  • Support external sales people as necessary

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the full range of products & services that Motivair offer.
  • Answer the phone in a professional and timely manner, recording details of calls in daybook.
  • Assist customers with their enquiries and needs
  • Discuss with customers the range of products & services Motivair offer.
  • Provide quotations when required for products & services Motivair offer discuss prices and lead times with suppliers to Motivair.  Be aware of profit margins.
  • Process credit card payments as necessary.
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Process orders, these orders may be taken over the phone, through fax or e-mail, in the post or from external sales people.
  • Acknowledge all orders for serialised equipment and any individual order which is valued over £1000
  • Progress orders for customers and keep them aware when we know of delays to an order, including liaising with suppliers and supply chain.
  • Ensure carriage cost is communicated clearly to customers.
  • To carry out what ever duties are required to increase the monthly turnover
  • Marketing and pro-active telesales.
  • Implementation of strategies to meet the company objectives.
  • Develop the working relationship with our parts fulfilment provider (Duncan Rogers).
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers and staff of all sections throughout the company.
  • Provide a high quality of service to Motivair customers.
  • Provide cover for Internal Sales Executive whilst out of office, provide feedback and support as necessary.
  • To follow the company’s ISO procedures including filling or paper work relating to all orders and quotations.
  • Ad-hoc cover duties in other sales  teams as directed.

  • Hours: 40 per week
