Recruitment Process


Our recruitment process is as follows:

STEP 1:  We produce a full job description outlining the details of the role and the requirements of the job-holder.

STEP 2:  Roles are advertised internally and externally, using major job sites. We ask for CV’s and covering letters to be forwarded to our HR department, who will review candidates in line with the person specification.

STEP 3:  Candidates who meet the required criteria will be passed on to the relevant recruiting manager for short-listing.

STEP 4:  The short-listed candidates undertake a series of interviews and, if appropriate, tests suitable to the vacancy, which are normally carried out by the relevant line managers with input from the HR team as necessary.

STEP 5:  Successful candidates will be notified and employment paperwork prepared. Candidates who are unsuccessful will also be notified.

STEP 6:  All offers are subject to two satisfactory references, a check on relevant qualifications and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. HR will apply for all references, which will be requested once applicants have indicated acceptance. References will ideally come from current and/or previous employers, if applicable. If the references are not satisfactory or the eligibility criteria not met, the offer may be revoked.

STEP 7:  Induction of new employees starts as soon as an applicant accepts a position. HR will send out a copy of the written statement of terms and conditions of employment and all related new starter forms that need to be completed.
