Description of activities

Providing technical support to both internal and external customers, the Technical Programmes department bring a huge amount of expert knowledge and experience to Motivair.

Responsible for major projects, installations and consultancy services, the Technical Programmes team's core activities include:

  • Providing technical product support
  • Managing major projects and site installations from the point of order receipt
  • Ensuring supplier approvals are maintained in accordance with company procedures
  • Managing the technical library
  • Producing technical drawings as required for projects and installations
  • Handling the warranty claim process in relation to service work

Type of person required

Dealing with a wide variety of customers, which range from small engineering businesses through to large international corporations, our internal sales team team are key points of contact, handling all customer sales enquiries that come via phone, fax and e-mail.

Key skills include:

  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to identify and develop good working relationships with major suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Ability to work effectively with other departments
