Experts in Breathing Air

There can be few more demanding environments than a Nuclear Power Plant; site managers set the most exacting standards. So it was a great compliment to be asked to provide British Energy with their breathing air.

Motivair replaced existing oil-free reciprocating compressors and installed three speed regulated CompAir L75SR’s, to deliver a reliable supply of breathing quality compressed air at British Energy’s Heysham Nuclear Power Plant.

The L75SRs provide British Energy with a valuable means of monitoring the demand and health of the system and the energy savings delivered by the speed regulated compressors are seen as a bonus.
